A short cut to the right light
Finding the right light takes most people longer than choosing the sofa. There are hundreds of pendants, ceiling lights and wall lights in the Maison Aurore collection, and the difference between the right one and the nearly-right one is usually three or four small decisions nobody tells you about — how low it should hang, how wide it can go, whether the finish will sit well with the room it lands in. The finder asks five short questions instead: the room, the look you are drawn to, how the piece should fit, the height of your ceiling and the budget you have in mind. It then reads the whole collection and returns the piece we would choose for you, with a few alternatives worth considering.
Every recommendation follows from what you tell us. A dining room asks for light that sits low and warm over the table. A hallway prefers something closer to the ceiling. A bedroom rarely forgives a harsh glare. The finder weighs the look you chose — aged brass, matte black, woven natural fibres or a touch of coloured glass — against the pieces actually available, so what you see is what we can send.
The practical details are on every result. Dimensions are listed where we have them, in centimetres. Where a bulb is included we say so; where it is not, we tell you the fitting it takes, most often a standard E27. Many of our pendants hang on an adjustable cable, so the drop settles to your room rather than the other way round.
