Three copper cages, one bulb apiece, hung over a table or an island. The open wire frame gives the light a shape without shutting it in, and the shadows it draws across a worktop are half the appeal. Copper warms quickly under a filament bulb, so the effect lands closer to firelight than to office lighting. Take the linear version for a long table or the cluster for a round one: 55 cm for a small table, 75 cm where there is more to cover. The drop adjusts up to 120 cm and the caps are standard E27, so replacing a bulb means whatever is already in the cupboard. Copper will not stay factory-bright, either.
