Terracotta wabi-sabi pendant: clay, shaped into light
This terracotta wabi-sabi pendant finds its beauty in the irregular, its organic form shaped like a pebble worn smooth over time. The terracotta tone warms a room at once, with something of Mediterranean earthenware and old Japanese pottery about it. Asymmetric openings throw a shifting light, casting golden reflections across your walls and turning a space into a quiet retreat. It reads as much as a sculptural object as a light, at home above a dining table or in a living room of natural tones. It comes in two sizes, 28cm and 42cm, and its patinated metal gives it real character. Supplied with a bulb and an adjustable drop, it goes up easily and brings that wabi-sabi calm straight away.Specifications

Your questions, answered
Will it arrive safely?
If it arrives damaged, we sort it out. Send a photo of the piece as it arrived to hello@maison-aurore.co.uk within 30 days of delivery. Once we've confirmed the damage, we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost; if we need the item back, we cover the return cost.
Can I fit it myself?
Plug-in pieces, yes. Anything wired into the ceiling or wall should be fitted by a qualified electrician; replacing an existing pendant or wall light on the same point is usually a straightforward job for them. This piece takes an E27 bulb: use a bulb that matches the socket and voltage shown in the specifications. Not sure about your wiring? Send us a photo of your ceiling rose or backplate before you buy and we'll tell you what's involved.
Delivery & timings
Free UK delivery on all orders, with no minimum order. Orders are dispatched from our overseas fulfilment partner in Asia and delivered by a local carrier in your country. Order before 12:00 (London time) on a working day and we start preparing it the same working day. Preparation takes 3 to 5 working days and delivery a further 4 to 8 working days (Monday to Friday), so 7 to 13 working days in total. You receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.
What if it isn’t right for me?
You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, on top of the 14 days the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you. Email hello@maison-aurore.co.uk with your order number: we confirm the return and send you the address and instructions. The item must be unused, in its original condition and in its original packaging. Return postage is at your cost; as returns go to an address outside the UK, a label typically costs around £10. Once we've received and inspected the item, we refund you within 14 days to your original payment method. If the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we cover the return cost, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.
