Instead of one shade, this pendant hangs a group of clear glass globes at different heights. Clear glass hides nothing, so the bulbs are part of the look and the light scatters around the room rather than pooling in one spot. Over a stairwell the cascade works with the height instead of fighting it, and the eye follows it up. Above a dining table it sits lower and keeps the light close to the people around it. The drop adjusts up to 200cm, which covers a tall stairwell as well as a standard ceiling. Gold detailing on the fittings warms up all that clear glass. Run it with five bulbs for a proper spread, or fewer for something quieter. Easy enough to fit.
