The piece
Single black cage pendant for a kitchen
A black metal hat shade with a wire cage around the bulb, 27cm wide and 27cm high, modelled on old factory lights. One works over a small table or a bedside. In a kitchen, hang two or three in a row over an island, 70 to 90cm above the worktop. The drop adjusts up to 120cm. It takes one E27 bulb, not included, and a clear filament bulb in warm white looks right inside the cage. It is wired to a ceiling point, so have an electrician fit it.

Will it arrive safely?
If it arrives damaged, we sort it out. Send a photo of the piece as it arrived to hello@maison-aurore.co.uk within 30 days of delivery. Once we've confirmed the damage, we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost; if we need the item back, we cover the return cost.
Can I fit it myself?
Plug-in pieces, yes. Anything wired into the ceiling or wall should be fitted by a qualified electrician; replacing an existing pendant or wall light on the same point is usually a straightforward job for them. This piece takes an E27 bulb: use a bulb that matches the socket and voltage shown in the specifications. Not sure about your wiring? Send us a photo of your ceiling rose or backplate before you buy and we'll tell you what's involved.
Delivery
Delivery is free across the UK on every order, with no minimum, and it's tracked. We email you the tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched. It ships from our fulfilment partner in Asia and a local carrier brings it to you, which in the UK means Royal Mail, Evri, DPD or Parcelforce. The full details are on our delivery page.
What if it isn’t right for me?
You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, on top of the 14 days the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you. Email hello@maison-aurore.co.uk with your order number: we confirm the return and send you the address and instructions. The item must be unused, in its original condition and in its original packaging. Return postage is at your cost; as returns go to an address outside the UK, a label typically costs around £10. Once we've received and inspected the item, we refund you within 14 days to your original payment method. If the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we cover the return cost, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.
