Black metal and rope pendant, where industrial meets natural
This black metal and rope pendant brings together two honest materials to lovely effect. A spherical wire cage in matt black is wrapped in natural rope, softening the frame and warming the whole piece. The result has real presence, well suited to an industrial scheme that could do with a little warmth. Light filters through the open cage while the rope holds part of it back, casting gentle geometric shadows across the wall. At 30cm across it stays compact, lighting a smaller room without losing its decorative weight. The height adjusts up to 120cm and it takes a standard E27 bulb, so it settles easily anywhere from a snug home office to the living room.
